Shirebrook Village Hall

Shirebrook Village Hall on Park Road was built in the early 1970's and was built to similar designs to Village Halls of that time across the country. Throughout its existence the Village hall has catered for many Shirebrook family's needs, be it a wedding, christening or that special family celebration.

The Hall is also used by various regular community groups and is available to hire at very competitive rates.

The Hall can be hired en-bloc with the use of the kitchen facilities, or you can hire one of the smaller rooms, for your group or party.

The licensed bar, which is run by the Town Council, is available free of charge on request.


Current charges for the Village Hall hire are:

Monday to Thursday

Main Hall hourly rate:

      • Business Users - £15.00
      • Non-Business Users - £13.00

Meeting Rooms hourly rate:

      • Business Users - £9.50
      • Non-Business Users - £7.50

Friday to Sunday

Main Hall hire: £150.00
(Including full use of all rooms, kitchen, bar, cookers etc.)

Bookings where an entrance fee is charged irrespective of day: £140.00
(Including full use of all rooms, kitchen, bar, cookers etc.)

A bond of £100.00 is required for all social events which is refundable if no damage has been sustained. In the event of damage in excess of £100.00, the hiree will be charged the full cost of repair.
